Kieran Brown is a Senior Managing Consultant in London with the Berkeley Research Group. He is a trusted strategy professional serving clients in the government, technology and industrial sectors in the USA, UK, North Asia, and the Middle East.
Kieran has been leading the blockchain research and policy work with the Executive Office of a major Middle East Government as part of their broader Smart Cities programme. His policy interests and expertise span innovation policy and management, economic development, human capital, and state reform. Kieran has had the privilege of serving C-suite clients across a broad range of corporate strategy, joint-venture studies, restructuring, digital transformation, and HR/talent change programmes with Fortune 5 and Fortune 50 internationally.
Kieran has significant experience facilitating complex strategy and policy design processes, and problem-solving with senior leadership teams. Kieran has previously been a Fellow in the public sector practice at McKinsey & Company. His earlier career was in financial services in digital and strategy functions in New Zealand/Australia. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the University California Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Kieran graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce with first class honours from Victoria University of Wellington, and from Wolfson College, University of Oxford with a Masters in Public Policy.
